A loverly multi-terrain run to coincide with Carnival Week

This a Charity based race,it is sponsored by local businesses so all entry fees go direct to Carnival Fund & then passed on to local charities.

This run is part of Carnival Week so the emphasis is very much on fun,this year we have introduced a shorter distance,this is in honour of one of our sponsors who sadly passed away in February,it shall be known as 'The Prusty Plod' and all proceeds from this run will go to Rowcroft Hospice at Home Care Team,proceeds from the 7mile distance will still be donated to the carnival fund.
Local firm Hunts Cider are one of the sponsors & kindly give us bucket loads of their very tasty cider,made here in the village.for every finisher to sample!!
The course is a challenge,80% off road around the village & may contain one or two hills(less hills in the shorter route!) which I think is pretty much the norm for Devon!! All finishers will recieve a Medal
A Free Bacon Bap & some Local Hunts Cider to wash it down!!

The event HQ & Start/Finish is at Stoke Gabriel Football Club,they have a great clubhouse & facilities,changing rooms & showers.There is also ample parking.The course will still take in the Millpond & beautiful riverside path before climbing out of the village onto those hillside trials.
